This dotted shirt is printed with mud- resist technique of Rajasthan called ‘Dabu’, requires skilled craftsmanship. It is dyed with natural Indigo. It has undergone lot of washes during the process, which makes it very smooth and comfortable to wear.
Earthlike works with handmade fabrics made by Indian artisans and craftsmen. It breathes well and will keep you cosy in all weather conditions. The natural dyes used on most of the fabrics are skin friendly and they provide rustic colour pallet. Handmade products have their own charm
Also note that handmade products are not precise. They are not error free. There may be colour difference with every batch. Natural dyes may run at first wash. But it will bring nice faded effect to cloths.
Buying handmade products will keep Traditional Indian arts and crafts alive.

“Earthlike” is a lifestyle label launched by Kirti, textile graduate from the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad, along with her husband Anup an architect by profession who has pursued master’s degree in management from UNSW, Australia.
We love Indian traditional arts and crafts! Most of them use sustainable and eco-friendly processes to create an art. We want to make people aware of our age-old traditions and bring them back in today’s trends.
