CBAM Support

Helping exporters stay compliant and competitive under the EU Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism.

At Wudbox, we assist organisations in understanding and preparing for compliance with the EU Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) — helping you measure, document, and report your product-level emissions accurately.

Our goal is to make CBAM readiness simple, structured, and transparent — so your exports remain compliant, competitive, and aligned with global decarbonisation standards.

What is CBAM?

The Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) is a policy introduced by the European Union (EU) to ensure imported goods reflect the true cost of their carbon emissions.

It applies to selected carbon-intensive sectors such as:

  • Cement

  • Iron & Steel

  • Aluminium

  • Fertilisers

  • Electricity

  • Hydrogen

Under CBAM, exporters to the EU are required to report embedded emissions in their products — and eventually pay an equivalent carbon price if those emissions exceed EU standards.

This regulation aims to prevent “carbon leakage” and promote global emissions accountability across supply chains.

Why CBAM Compliance Matters

For exporters and manufacturers, CBAM compliance is not just about regulation — it’s about market access, transparency, and long-term competitiveness.

Adhering to CBAM requirements helps you:

  • Maintain uninterrupted access to EU markets

  • Demonstrate climate transparency to global buyers and investors

  • Prepare for future carbon pricing and disclosure regulations

  • Strengthen ESG and supply chain reporting

  • Build credibility as a low-carbon, responsible supplier

Getting CBAM-ready now protects your business from future trade risks and strengthens your export potential.
