HOW TO SELECT THE RIGHT SIZE TO FIT YOU PERFECTLY

What to do when the new clothes you bought do not fit? How to know what size will fit you when selecting from an online store? Selecting the right size for your clothing can be tricky so we thought of putting out some simple tips to help you select the right size. FOR SELECTING RIGHT SIZED KURTI

Step 1. Take your perfect- fit kurti and lay it on a flat surface. Ideally this is a kurti whose fit you love.

Step 2. Grab an inch tape for measurements and get ready!

Step 3. Measure the following as given below in the images:

Measure the Shoulder

For measuring the shoulder, keep one end of the measuring tape at the end of the neckline and the other end at the lining of the shoulder as shown below. This is an important measurement that makes sure the kurti is fitted as per your body type. We always check the shoulder when judging the size, right??

Measure the Arm Length

For measuring the arm, keep one end of the measuring tape at the shoulder lining and the other end at the end of the sleeve. This measurement helps in deciding how long the sleeve would be. You may wan to have a longer or shorter sleeve, so be sure before ordering!

Measure the Bust

For measuring the bust, measure from one armpit to the other, as shown below. Double the number you see on the tape and that is the measurement you need.

Measure the Waist

For measuring the waist also, go to the waist around the narrowest area of the kurti and measure from one end to the other, as shown below. Double this number and you have your exact waist size.

Measure the Hips

For measuring the hips, go to the hip region of the kurti around the broadest area of the kurti and measure from one end to the other, as shown below. Double this number and you have your exact size.

Measure the Length of the Kurta

For getting the right length, measure from the top of the shoulder to the end of the kurti, till the lower most point. Just like the arm or sleeve, you can decide what length of kurti you are looking for.

Keep all these measurements ready and refer to the size chart that you see on the website you want to buy from. A size chart can help you decide exactly how the fit will be.
